Dead Ahead is a highly addictive zombie-themed endless runner

Yes, zombies again. We love them. They are insatiable, so are we. Chillingo International has developed an original video game with an insanely addictive gameplay.

You are a survivor trying to escape from the Zero Zone on a scooter. Pedal to the metal, dude. Unfortunately, since your ride isnt the fastest ever, you must drive it in such a way that zombies smash their heads against obstacles while chasing you. Of course, sometimes that wont be enough and you will have to pull out the gun and shoot at them.

This is an endless runner: the goal is getting as far as you can. Try to grab power-ups, guns and ammo on the way and upgrade them from garage. You better do it or you wont have a chance to last for too long. Of course, whether a zombie catches you or you hit any obstacle and fall off the scooter, the game is over.

Dead Aheads artwork is excellent as well as its spicy sense of humor. The guy is controlled with three basic buttons: attack, accelerate and move up-down to avoid obstacles. Controls are responsive but its quite easy to mis-tap them (should be bigger).

The main flaw has to do with its too aggressive and intrusive in-app purchase (IAP). Besides that, the game is playworthy.
